NOW Is the Time to Take Action Against “Safe Schools” Czar

kevin-jennings-exposed

More than four dozen members of congress have signed a letter urging President Obama to oust “Safe Schools” Czar, Kevin Jennings.

I will try to summarize the reasons in as concise and PG13-rated manner as possible; but please forgive some of these explanations. If our President hadn’t granted a Czarship to this individual, we wouldn’t have to go here.

First, a quick explanation of what is meant by “safe schools”. You may be thinking to yourself that a “safe schools” czar is a great idea–after all, bullying and other forms of school violence are on the rise. It wouldn’t hurt to bring in an expert who can develop new strategies for dealing with these issues.

The only problem?

That’s not what the Obama administration means by “safe schools”. A “safe school” is a school that gives special protections to certain privileged groups of students, namely homosexuals.

So that is basically Jennings’ job in a nutshell. He was essentially brought in to introduce the homosexual agenda to American schoolchildren and, as you will see, he is uniquely qualified to do so. God help us.

Here’s some info. on Jennings:

- He’s the founder of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network)–a group that was recently caught teaching 14-year-olds how to perform various sexual acts including oral sex tips. You can take my word for it or see the video and read more details here.

-On Friday Scott Baker of Breitbart TV conducted an in-depth report of Kevin Jennings, which included a list of reccomended books featured on GLSEN’s website that can be ordered by teachers or parents.

Here’s what Baker had to say about the books:

“We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.”

Here are some of the most offensive excerpts from these books which include references to sex among first-graders, teenagers looking for gay sex in mall bathrooms, and a depiction of children watching a gay sexual encounter.

Some people get locked up for child porn, others get promoted to high-ranking Czarships, making $273k a year. There’s no excuse for this.

-Jennings is also a proud member Act Up!–the group of violent gay activists who famously stormed St. Patrick’s Cathedral in 1989, throwing condoms in the air and unveiling a pornographic image of Jesus. It was even uglier outside where some protestors held up violence-inducing signs that read, “Eternal life to Cardinal John O’Connor NOW!”

While these revelations only scrape the surface, they should be enough for us to channel our disgust and outrage into action.

Here’s what you can do:

-Call the Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan at 1-800-872-5327. Press 3 to get a human being on the phone, and then give them a piece of your mind. They will enter your comments into a database for Secretary Duncan. Leaving your name and state is optional.

-Go to www.stopjennings.org. At the pull down menu, choose your state and you will get the name of your state Superintendent. You can call and email. There is a form letter under their contact info. that you can fill out in less than a minute.

-Click here to donate to Family Research Council. They are the biggest and best organization at promoting family values and taking action against policies that threaten our children. If you can’t donate right now, sign up for their e-newsletter so you’ll be kept up-to-date on the issues.

-Call your State Representatives. You could even call the offices of those who have already signed the letter (Duncan Hunter, Doug Lamborn, Steve King, Joe Pitts, Darrell Isa among others) to thank them for standing on the sides of parents.

-Call your Senators

-Call your Governor

This isn’t about political or religious affiliations at all. It’s really about whether or not we as parents will insist on preserving our right to be the arbiters of morality and values in our children’s lives or whether we will sit idly by while the government pushes us aside in an attempt to indoctrinate our kids with their morals and values.

As Toby Keith once said, “She didn’t say ‘No’, she said “Hell no!’”

This guy has got to go!

Saturday Night Fever

The Senate debate over the new health care bill, all 2,074 pages of it will kick off Saturday night at 8 p.m. The bill would cost $848 billion over 10 years.

Here are some of the hurdles that Harry Reid & co. will have to clear before this bill even has a prayer:

Abortion:

Ben Nelson, a moderate Democrat, says that he will join a Republican filibuster if language is not added preventing tax payer dollars from funding abortions. The Stupak-Pitts amendment is one way to do that; but Democrats are unwilling to commit to such language.

Watch this interesting exchange in which John Boehner questions Charles Rangel about Stupak. Rangel responds by asking John Boehner, “Why [he] is so rude?”

Public Option:

Senate moderates like Joe Lieberman who are needed to build a 60-vote coalition have indicated that they will not support a bill that contains a public option. Here’s how Lieberman put it: “If at the end of the debate, the bill I think is overloaded … particularly with this government-sponsored public option insurance company, I’m not going to vote for cloture.” He’s also stated that he won’t be the only moderate holding out.

Tax Increase:

The bill raises taxes by $486 billion in its first year. Because that’s what we need to revive our struggling economy, a heavier tax burden.

Ultimately, I don’t think they will be able to get anything through this time. Democrats don’t want to compromise on abortion or the public option and even if they did pass the bill with the Stupak amendment or restricting the public option, a David Axelrod seemed to infer last week that President Obama would veto a bill that was watered down in those areas .

Crist vs. Rubio

It’s a tough week to be Charlie Crist.

The election results seem to indicate a lack of voter tolerance for “moderate” waffling politicians. Crist happens to be one of those.

On top of that, he claimed Wednesday that he didn’t support President Obama’s stimulus package.

This video seems to indicate otherwise:

Adding to his woes is Marco Rubio.

Rubio will face off with Crist in the Senate primary. He is wildly popular in Florida–a bold tax cutter and unapologetic social conservative.

On top of that, he has a fascinating story to tell. He was born to Cuban immigrants. His mother worked as a maid and his father was a bartender.

He served as City Commissioner for West Miami before being elected to the House of Representatives for the 111th District in a special election.

In this interview with Fox News he explains why Republicans shouldn’t succumb to the “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” attitude:

Plus, he’s got a cute family. Never hurts:

More:
-Here is analysis from USA Today.
-Today the FRC gave him their endorsement.
-The NRSC says it won’t spend anymore money on Crist’s campaign.
